Ever been terrified by the thought of 'death'?

Recently I've been thinking a lot about death. It's surely an enormous mystery that we remain unable to wrap our grown-up minds around it, despite comfort from our great poets and consolation from our great philosophers, how are tiny humans to make sense of it all? Death is truth, every human being is going to experience death one day, but everyone is running away from reality. So, in this article let's get through the subject of death !!

Well, Death isn’t the end.

I don’t agree with in an afterlife, not in the conventional religious sense of heaven or hell. But I do believe that what we think of as death is just a continuation of an ongoing process.

Let’s think of a fruit, let's take an apple: it is formed from water from the apple tree’s surroundings, sugar, and other materials the tree gathers from the ground and air and sunlight. So before the apple was an “apple,” it was the world around it. The world came collectively to make an apple — it’s not like it simply appeared from nowhere. The apple grows and constantly changes, after which falls and turns into the earth again.

Everything is like this: part of an ongoing process, without a real beginning or end. People included. What we consider as someone is just a part of the continuing procedure of the world.

And when a person dies, they aren’t gone. They become the earth. They grow into things they were surrounded by.

But, that’s simply the person’s body. Their character doesn’t end either — we recall them, and laugh about jokes they made, and retell their stories, and live lives inspired through them. Their legacy turns into part of us, of our families. A part of all of humanity, simply as they were a continuation of the legacy of the people who shaped them.

Joshua Heschel argues that dealing with death gives life meaning; that life and death are both elements of a greater mystery; that by distinctive feature of being created in no much less than God’s image, we can consider an afterlife for humanity — yet on the same time death itself is an antidote to human arrogance; and that during death we pay gratitude for the wonder and present of our existence. Our existence embraces both life and death, and in a manner death is the test of the meaning of life. If death is devoid of meaning, then life is absurd. Life’s final meaning remains difficult to understand unless it's far reflected upon in the face of death.

The fact of death must be a major factor in our understanding of living. Yet only a few of us have come face to face with death as a problem or a challenge. There is a slowness, a delay, neglect on our element to think about it. For the subject isn't always exciting, however as a substitute strange and shocking

Sadhguru says, if one does not perceive life, how can he perceive what is death? Right now you are alive. If you cannot perceive where you are, how can you perceive what is yet to be? Death is only an illusion created by the ignorant. There is no such thing as death. It is only life. If you perceive life, you will understand that what you call death is just another dimension of life.

There is no such thing as death. It is only life.

If you try and understand death, you may end up with fanciful stories. You can not understand death because it isn't yet for you. If you want to recognise death, you could best know it by experience. You can not know it through someone else and the same is true with life. If you need to understand life, you can only know it via way of means of experiencing it. If you know life in its totality, it also includes death and that is the best manner to understand it

If you know life in its totality, it also includes death and that is the only way to know it. For us to declare that someone is alive and someone is dead is only socially relevant. Existentially it is not relevant.

Well, now, at last, writing an article about death is silly and through this, I simply desired to have a close look at one of the most interesting phenomena of life. But, before ending let's simply have a look at the case of that apple. For the formation of that single apple, the whole universe contributed from smaller to a bigger extent. Even in formation of a single individual, there is the contribution of the whole universe. So just think how special it is. Death is a fact, a reality however that period between birth and death is the most treasured of everything. The whole universe came together for it, that clearly depicts how special every individual is !!
